Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said on Monday that practices of Belarus government were satisfactory during the arbitrary sanctions and that Iran will consider such cooperation of foreign governments in policymaking for trade and economic cooperation, AVA Diplomatic reports.
He made the remarks in a meeting of the outgoing Belarus Ambassador to Tehran Victor Rybak.
Zarif appreciated the constructive cooperation of Belarus government to develop economic cooperation and said, ‘Insight and friendship of Belarus ambassador at the end of his tenure prepared the grounds for enhanced cooperation with Belarus.’
Rybak said that Belarus government welcomed Iran’s nuclear agreement with the big powers and congratulated Zarif on the success.
Expressing pleasure with outcome of his mission in Tehran, Rybak said, ‘We inaugurated bilateral consular relations and the exchange of visits, extensively giving an impetus to mutual cooperation by holding 13 meetings of Tehran-Minsk Joint Economic Commission.’
The Belarus ambassador said that the visit of Belarus industry minister to Iran and the upcoming visit of Iran’s Minister of Science, Research and Technology to Belarus would serve to further strengthen cooperation.
