 Iran, Pakistan exchange information to counter terrorism

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran Noor Muhammad Jadmani said that the two countries have boosted their interaction to counter terrorist group, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Jadmani who is currently in Hamedan to attend the International Conference on Mir Seyyed Ali Hamedani told reporters Thursday that fighting terrorism has been on his country’s agenda since years ago.

He also said that Pakistan is currently exchanging information with Iran to address the threat of terrorism.

As to fighting drug traffickers, the Pakistani envoy said that a trilateral mechanism involving Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan has been devised with an aim of countering drug smugglers.
