Climate change an integral part of our life: Nicaraguan envoy

Nicaraguan Ambassador to Tehran Mario Barquero Baltodano said climate change is an integral part of our life,AVA Diplomatic reports.

The Nicaraguan envoy made the remarks during the gathering on the ‘World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Defense of Life’ held in Bolivian embassy in Tehran on Sunday.

Baltodano reiterated that the climate change plays a pivotal role in our daily life. ‘If there is enough money to fan the flames of war in different countries, so there is sufficient money to tackle climate change across the globe,’ the diplomat said.

Baltodano stressed that the journalists are at the forefront of dissemination of information in this respect.  The World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Defense of Life is slated to be held in Tiquipaya, Cochabamba, Bolivia, from 10 to 12 October 2015.
