Nahavandian: Nuclear deal opens a new chapter for ties with outside world

Presidential Chief of Staff Mohammad Nahavandian said on Wednesday that nuclear deal between Iran and G5+1 has created a new opportunity for expansion of all-out relations with the outside world and Oman in particular, AVA Diplomatic reports.
Nahavandian made the remarks in a meeting with Oman’s Ambassador to Tehran Saud bin Ahmed Khalid al Barwani.
Relations between the two countries mainly in the past two years were at high level and it is expected to be more consolidated in the near future, he said.
Expansion of banking cooperation should be regarded as a key for trade and commercial ties and such relations should be boosted further than before.
Time is ripe for both sides to broaden cooperation in other sectors in addition to energy such as in transport, Nahavandian said.
Referring to fall of oil prices, he said those who have created such situation are now suffering from low price of oil in the market.
Expressing regret over unpleasant status of the Muslim people in the region and the activities of Takfiri terrorist groups, he emphasized the need to restore tranquility, stability and security in the entire region.
Unfortunately, many Muslims are now being massacred under the name of Islam, he said.
Nuclear deal between Iran and G5+1 helped reopen the window of the world economy to Iran, he said.
Omani ambassador said for his part that cooperation between Iran and Oman is at high level, calling for expansion of economic and banking cooperation between the two countries.

Oman is determined to broaden relation and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, he underlined.
The Omani ambassador also submitted the message of Oman’s King His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to Nahavandian to be delivered to President Hassan Rouhani.
