 Health minister: Iran resolved to help Syria in supplying medicine

Health Minister Hassan Hashemi in a meeting with Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Adnan Mahmoud discussed the expansion of bilateral ties and mutual cooperation as well as Syria’s sharing Iran’s know how and experiences in pharmaceutical and medical equipment, AVA Diplomatic reports.

‘We will be hosting the Syrian health minister soon and this visit will surely pave the way for the broadening of cooperation, especially in health and treatment fields,’ health minister said during his meeting with Mahmoud.

Hashemi pointed to Islamic Republic of Iran’s readiness to enhance its relations with Syria, especially in medical equipment and medicine fields, and said, ‘We will do our best to help Syria in this field.’

The Syrian ambassador, for his part, said that the upcoming visit of the Syrian health minister is in line with the same objective, and said, ‘I hope that new3 horizons will be opened for the enhancement of the two countries’ relations in the next stage and after the historical achievement of nuclear agreement in Vienna.
