Senior MP criticizes west for keeping mum on Yemen crisis

Chairman of Majlis (Iranian parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi strongly criticized the western countries for keeping silent on massacre of Yemeni people, AVA Diplomatic reports.
‘The silence of the west towards the mass killing of the Yemeni people, specially defenseless women and children, is the regretting and astonishing,’ Boroujerdi said in a meeting with outgoing Danish ambassador to Tehran on Wednesday.
Asked about the regional situation, Boroujerdi pointed to the massacre of defenseless people of Yemen by Saudi military men in cooperation with the ISIL, and said, ‘Saudi Arabia committed a big strategic mistake and the support by the US and some western countries from the Saudi aggression is repeating the same mistakes that they committed in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.’
