Iran, Algeria officials review ways to further ties

Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi and Algerian new Ambassador to Iran Abdelmoun’aam Ahriz conferred here on ways to promote bilateral relations, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Akhoundi as the Iranian head of Tehran-Algiers economic commission expressed Iran’s readiness to develop cultural and economic cooperation with the Algerian side. Referring to the latest constructive visit of the Iranian energy minister to Algeria, Akhoundi described bilateral political ties as good.

Iran is serious to implement bilateral agreements between the two countries, Akhoundi said. Also, the Algerian diplomat said his country is fully ready to boost ties with Iran.

The Algerian minister of housing and development is planned to visit Iran at a proper time after the end the holy fasting month of Ramadan started on June 18, Ahriz said.
