INOTEX 2015 expo kicks off in Tehran

The second International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (INOTEX 2015) started here on Tuesday in the presence of senior domestic and foreign officials including vice-president for scientific and technological affairs and Russian ambassador to Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.

The four-day expo is attended by more than 120 formidable technological companies from over 20 countries including Russia, India, South Korea, Belgium, France, Germany, England, Italy, Greece, Romania, Azerbaijan, Pakistan and China, as well as 60 Iranian companies will participate in this event.

The participants are to present their latest technological achievements and innovations in various fields including IT &ICT, oil, gas and petrochemical, hi-tech medicine and biomedical engineering, industrial automation and intelligent system, biotechnology, nanotechnology, renewable energy, aerospace, medical and laboratory equipment, infrastructures, new materials, optics, photonics and laser.

An international forum will also be held on the sidelines of INOTEX 2015 for two days with the participation of leading experts from Iran and their counterparts from South Korea, France and Austria.

The INOTEX 2014 was held in May 2014 with the participation of eight countries including Russia, China, Iran, UK, Germany, South Korea and Turkey.

A total of 60 foreign and 57 domestic knowledge-based and hi-tech companies had attended in INOTEX 2014.
