Enemies attempted to undermine Iran, Syria: Syrian ambassador

Syrian ambassador to Tehran said Monday that enemies see no difference between Iran and Syria and are making attempts to undermine both the governments of Tehran and Damascus, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Adnan Mansour made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian deputy health minister.

He said that cooperation between Iran and Syria are strategic. Hailing the relations between Iran the two countries since the victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979, the ambassador appreciated Iranian Health Minister’s support for Syria as the country faces four years of humanitarian crisis.

Underlining the role of higher education for a country to make progress, Mansour said the enemies have shut all the doors to education in Western countries for the Syrian youth. He expressed hope that Iran’s Ministry of Health would help the Syrian students gain scholarship in Iranian universities.
