 Japanese Ambassador Meets with the Deputy Minister of Cooperatives Labour and Social Welfare

Japanese ambassador together with a Japanese economic-political delegation met and exchanged views with the deputy Minister of Cooperatives Labour and Social Welfare , AVA Diplomatic reports.Koji Haneda, Japanese ambassador to Iran in the meeting with Mohammad Taqi Hosseini explained about the visit of Japanese delegation to Iran and said: “One of the main purposes of the political-economic delegation is to get informed about work regulations and facilities for foreign investors in Iran”.

Hosseini on his part explained about the capabilities of Cooperatives Labour and Social Welfare ministry, regulations and facilities for the foreign investors and foreign expert work force.

Referring to the codes of labor law for foreigners he said: “working permit for foreigners is issued for a one year period but there have been agreements with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance to issue work permit for three years according to the investor support regulations”.

“Regulations are amended, bureaucracies are reduced and the duration of permit granting is now shorter to facilitate the procedures,”

“Executive affairs are now facilitated and some of the affairs which had taken two weeks to be executed are now implemented in less than three days,”

“More than 100 jobs related to the foreigners are announced to the administrations of the provinces which was very effective in decentralizing and facilitating the investment affairs,” he added.

He also explained about the regulations for the employment of foreign expert work force and domestic work force and training the domestic work force.

In the meeting, Eghbali, director general of the employment of foreigners answered to the questions of the Japanese delegation concerning regulations of the foreigners’ employment in Iran.
