Ali Akbar Farazi the vice president of Iran Chamber International Affairs in a meeting with Ahmad Abdallah Ahmed Moitane, Ambassador of the Union of Comoros to Tehran, discussed relations between two countries, AVA Diplomatic reports.Ahmed Abdallah Ahmed Moitane highlighted long term historical relationship between two nations. He said “some business delegations from Shiraz has been settled down since 300 years ago and now there is a mosque named “Shirazi” with Iranian architecture and windows as a sign of this immigration and relation.
Moitane requested the promotion of bilateral relationships by introducing economic potential and opportunities to traders and investors. He also mentioned Iranian companies and private sector activities in agricultural projects.
For his part Ali Ali Akbar Farazi admired the participation of the ambassador in ICCIMA. He said “we have Sympathy and fraternal relation with Comoros and our historical ties should be recognized as a basis to expand mutual cooperation between private sectors”
“We can exchange our experience in different fields such as manufacturing power plants, cement and asphalt making factories” he continued.
Farazi also commented on bilateral ties draft of contract offered by ambassador and said “we can input an article to facilitate travel of our traders”
At the end both sides agreed to exchange the signed agreement in a formal meeting with participation of two countries officials.
