Kuwaiti Envoy Informs of Amir Visit to Iran

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tehran Majdi Al-Dhafiri said the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s visit to Iran is important in strengthening relations between the two nations and also coordinating efforts in the region, AVA Diplomatic reports.Iran is an important country in the region and Kuwait’s relation with Iran is based on mutual respect and cooperation, said the Ambassador.

He underlined that as current Kuwait being the President of the GCC and the Arab League, the Amir’s visit to Tehran has a huge political significance.

He indicated that both countries were eager to further bolster relations during the visit.
