Romanian Parliamentary Delegation Due in Iran

The Romanian ambassador to Iran says a parliamentary delegation from his country will pay an official visit to Tehran during the next week, AVA Diplomatic reports. Cristian Teodorescu said the delegation will explore ways of boosting cooperation between the Southeastern European country and the Islamic Republic.

Teodorescu described the Islamic Republic of Iran as an important player in the Middle East region, noting that Bucharest attaches great significance to the promotion of relations with Tehran.
