Iran Says Ready to Reopen British Embassy in Tehran

Head of Iran-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group, Abbasali Mansouri Arani, said Iran is ready to reopen British Embassy in Tehran, AVA Diplomatic reports.Mansouri Arani’s remarks came in his meeting with British non-resident charge d’affaires to Tehran Ajay Sharma, where the two had discussed issues of mutual interest, including reopening the embassies in both Tehran and London.

He concluded that they both believe non-resident representation contravenes the longstanding ties.
