The New Tajik Ambassador Begins His Mission in Tehran

The new Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran, Nematullah Emamzadeh, presented copies of his credentials to the Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, AVA Diplomatic reports.As reported by the Tajik Foreign Ministry, the Iranian Foreign Minister during the meeting with the Tajik diplomat noted that Tajikistan is an important strategic partner in the Central Asian region for his country.

The Foreign Ministry notes that issues related to the preparation of the first official visit of the Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, to Tajikistan, scheduled for 11-12 September, were also discussed.
