Austrian Envoy Says realities in Iran Not Reflected by Western Media
Austrian Ambassador to Tehran Friedrich Stift said on Sunday that western media did not reflect realities in the Islamic Republic of Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.Stift stated that the new Iranian government has changed the country’s atmosphere as new foreigners are willing to visit the country and anti-Iran propaganda will gradually be removed.
His remarks came on the sidelines of his visit to the library of the late Ayatollah Marashi Najafi.
Under the new circumstances, he added, many foreign visitors will travel to Iran to become familiar with the country’s realities which would be different from what have been portrayed by western media.
The Austrian diplomat said he was happy for his presence in Iran due to its rich culture and civilization.
Referring to Iran’s rich culture, he concluded there are diverse cultural sites and natural sceneries in the country.
