Iran-Europe cooperation on “Urban Search and Rescue” begins

Austrian ambassador to Tehran announced that cooperation between Iran and Europe on Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) kicked off, AVA Diplomatic reports.

“Educational cooperation between Iran and European Union (EU) on Urban Search and Rescue began on the initiative of Austria, hosted by Denmark and coordinated and facilitated by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA),” Austrian ambassador to Tehran, Stefan Scholz wrote on his Twitter account.
