Venezuelan ambassador to Tehran said on Monday that his country has been making use of Iran’s experiences in solving problems, AVA Diplomatic reports.
In the area of oil, Caracas could gain knowledge from Tehran in order to overcome its problems, Jesus Gregorio Gonzalez said.
About bilateral relations, the ambassador said his country has close ties with Iran and the two are cooperating in various joint projects.
“The two countries have also good economic relations,” said Gonzalez, adding the sanctions imposed on Iran since 2008 could not have negative impact on bilateral ties.
The Venezuelan ambassador added Tehran and Caracas have signed many mutual agreements in recent years.
Anti-Iran sanctions were lifted in Jan 2016 following the July 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) between Iran and the world powers.
