Austrian envoy: Mashhad plays leading role in broadening of ties

Austrian Ambassador to Tehran Stefan Scholz who is now touring the city of Mashhad, east of Iran said on Monday that the city plays a very significant role in broadening of relations and cooperation between the two sides, AVA Diplomatic reports.

He said in a meeting with the governor general of Khorasan Razavi province on Monday.

Given high economic potential in the province, the Austrian ambassador said his country is to send various economic delegations to examine grounds for the expansion of economic cooperation between the two sides.

There are various grounds such as water, renewable energy, experiences of Austrian experts in vocational training, health tourism and production of auto parts, he said.
