Russian banks to open L/C for Iranian businessmen

Russian deputy chief of mission for commercial relations Rustam Muradov said on Saturday that Russian banks are now cooperating with Iranian banks in opening letters of credit L/Cs and there is currently no obstacle to this end, AVA Diplomatic reports.

He said in a meeting between Russian Ambassador to Tehran Levan Dzhagaryan and governor general of Sari in Mazandarn province on Saturday.

The Russian banks named Gazprom and Sovkhoz banks have opened many L/Cs for Iranian businessmen without any problem, he said.

L/Cs for Iranian banks will be opened for Iranian businessmen in less than 30 days, he said.

Russian ambassador to Tehran is now visiting Mazandaran province at the official invitation extended to him by the province governor general.
