British ambassador to Iran extends sympathy to families of Plasco victims

British Ambassador to Iran Nicholas Hopton has described the Thursday Plasco fire disaster as a ‘tragic loss of life,’ extending sympathy to the families of the victims, AVA Diplomatic reports.

‘So sad about the tragic loss of life in the building that collapsed near the embassy today. My sympathy to all those affected,’ Hopton tweeted.

Plasco Trade Center, the 17-story building collapsed on Thursday while a number of firefighters were in the center to rescue those trapped in the huge fire. The number of people wounded at the Plasco Trade Center Thursday big fire has risen to 119.
