Iran’s the former Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs in Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with Palestinian Ambassador to Tehran Salah al-Zawawi and discussed international affairs, AVA Diplomatic reports.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is also the secretary-general of International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada, said the country would continue its unconditional support for the Palestinian Intifada.
Concerning Iran’s policy in opening friendly ties with all different countries, Amir-Abdollahian stated that, “Islamic Republic of Iran’s policy is expansion of all-out cooperation with all countries especially with the Islamic ones.”
Iranian official underlined that the world of Islam should develop a common policy toward the issue of Palestine as the most important issue of Muslims, adding
Amir- Abdollahian reiterated that politicians in Tel Aviv and the White House follow the same policy of weakening the countries in the Middle East region, noting Iran would continue its support for Palestinians unconditionally.
Mr. Salah Sawawi for his part expressed gratitude for Iran’s support for Palestinian people and said, “We see the Islamic Republic of Iran as a great country and a supporter and will never forget support of the people and the government for Palestinian issue.
