 Iran Turkish Ambassador Summoned to MFA

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has called Turkey’s Ambassador to Tehran Reza Hakan Takin to voice strong protest at Ankara’s unrealistic stances against Iran’s policy in the region, sources revealed this evening, AVA Diplomatic reports.

“Following some recent unrealistic statements and stances by a number senior Turkish officials to blame others over the developments in the region, Turkey’s Ambassador to Tehran Reza Hakan Takin has been summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry in the last few days to be informed of Iran’s strong protest,” an informed source said on Thursday.

The source declined to reveal any further details about the meeting or the specific topic of Tehran’s protest.

Iranian officials have not made any comment in this regard yet.
