Algerian Envoy: Tehran, Algiers relations at excellent level

Algerian Ambassador to Tehran Abdel Moun’aam Ahriz said on Wednesday that Tehran-Algiers diplomatic relations is at excellent level, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Following nuclear deal, Iran exercised an active presence in international arena, especially in economic areas, which leads to development of ties with other world countries.

Ahriz said that diplomatic relations between the two countries are at an excellent level, especially on issues about OPEC.

He said that Algerian Energy Minister Noureddine Bouterfa held fruitful negotiations with Iranian senior officials during his recent visit to Iran.

He added that there are different grounds for bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, especially natural gas, Methanol production and oil between the two countries.

He said that the upcoming informal meeting of OPEC member countries will be held in Algeria.

The ambassador expressed hope that the oil producing states can reach agreement on a logical price, which should be more than 50 dollars a barrel.
