 Tajik Ambassador Meets with Iran’s Makarem Shirazi

In a meeting with Grand Ayatollah, Naser Makarem Shirazi, the ambassador of Tajikistan stressed the solidarity of Persian-speaking countries. In this meeting, Namatollah Emomzada voiced his gladness regarding the meeting and emphasis on the foresaid unity as imperative, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Pointing out that his country has made great progress in preserving independence and restoring itself, the ambassador underlined, “What Tajikistan aims at is to stay clear of financial impasse and achieve economic independence. In accordance with national traditions, our people have maintained their religion and now, more than 90% of them are Muslim. Unfortunately, some countries are after setting walls between Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, the three Farsi-speaking countries. But they must know we are all one true nation and share a vast wealth of cultural commonalities.”

The Tajik ambassador to Iran further said, “We have preserved our national and cultural covering and hijab and of all the former Soviet countries, Tajikistan is the most significant land that has kept its national dressing style intact and that is one to be proud of.”
