Iranian Businessmen Meet with Tajikistan’s Ambassador

Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Iran, Nematullah Emomzoda met the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture of Semnan, Mr. Aliasghar Jomei, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Meanwhile, the issues related to strengthening and growing trade ties of the Republic of Tajikistan with Semnan and attracting more Iranian companies in various sectors of the economy were studied. The two sides emphasized the importance of exchanging delegations of the two countries and the cooperation of businessmen and investors.

In this regard, , Semnan province Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, will hold an exhibition of food and industrial products in Dushanbe in May, 2016.

Spokesman of Tajikistan National Bank announced that in the wake of lifting imposed sanctions on Iran, Tajikistan banks are ready for interactions and investment with Iranian banks.

Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan, Hojatollah Faghani met with the Governor of National Bank of Tajikistan last week.

Tajik spokesman said that two Iranian Banks named Tejarat and Kefalat were active in Tajikistan but due to sanctions they weren’t able to work.

Economic experts believe that opening banks in Tajikistan and currency exchange in this country will result in improving financial situation and reinforcing Tajikistan’s currency.
