Ali Akbar Farazi vice president of Iran Chamber International Affairs in a meeting with Andreas P. Kouzoupis, Cyprus Ambassador to Iran discussed about the plans of upcoming travel of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and agriculture (ICCIMA) to Cyprus, AVA Diplomatic reports.
The Ambassador of Cyprus highlighted the past positive activities and plans of Ali Akbar Farazi as an Iranian Ambassador in Cyprus and said: “Your political friends are waiting to see you, during this journey and they believe that your trip to Cyprus will be a ground to boost economical ties between Iran and Cyprus”
Andrias P Kouzoupis Ambassador to Tehran described the schedule of visits and official meetings between ICCIMA and said: “Both presidents and foreign affair ministers will meet each other during their journey to New York and in their absence head of parliament will act in president to welcome Iranian delegation”
“You made the foundation of bilateral works in the past and you should lead it in future” Kouzoupis added.
For his part Ali Akbar Farazi the vice president of ICCIMA international affairs appreciated Cyprus ambassador and stuff of embassy efforts to manage these meetings and issuing visa for Iranian group.
“Cyprus geo-political and geographical position among EU members is the most important attractiveness of this country for Persian traders and businessmen” Farazi continued.
He mentioned ICCIMA readiness to develop economical ties with Cypriots traders and economic activist and said “Both countries benefit sufficient recognition of themselves now it`s time to enlarge our economic relations”
The Iranian delegation with administration of ICCIMA will travel to Cyprus on 23of September and a mutual cooperation memorandum of understanding will be signed during this 3 days visit.
