Iran, Mongolia enjoy vast untapped capacities: President Rouhani

President Hassan Rouhani said here on Sunday that Iran and Mongolia enjoy a vast untapped economic potential, AVA Diplomatic reports.

President Rouhani made the remarks while receiving the letter of credential of Mongolia new Ambassador to Tehran Dambian Yam. ‘Iranian companies are fully ready to cooperate with Mongolia energy, road construction as well as mining fields,’ he added.

Touching upon Tehran and Mongolia ancient-old historical and cultural commonalities, President Rouhani voiced Iran’s willingness to expand scientific and cultural cooperation between the two courtiers. Pointing to his meeting with Mongol counterpart on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, President Rouhani expressed hope that the level of mutual relations could be expanded during Yam’s tenure.  The Mongolian envoy, for his part, expressed his country’s willingness to expand its political, scientific, cultural and economic relations with Iran.
