 3 Spanish ministers to visit Iran

Spain’s Ambassador to Tehran Pedro Antonio Villena Pérez said three ministers from his country are due to visit Iran in September, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Talking to reporters after a meeting with the governor general of this western Iran province on Saturday, he said the visit is taking place as the consequence of the nuclear deal between Iran and the 5+1 which will lead in lifting of west’s sanctions against Iran.

According to the ambassador, Spain’s ministers of foreign affairs, industries and construction will be heading to Iran with the objective of improving trade and economic relations.

He also said during his visit to the province, he studies the province’s advantages in oil, gas and mines sectors.

He said his country is certainly working to boost relations with Iran especially in the post-sanctions era.

Villena Pérez also termed as remarkable the province’s capacities in energy, tourism and precious stones and regretted the reduced volume of bilateral trade in the past years due to sanctions.
