Turkmenistan calls for broadening of trade ties with Iran

Turkmen Ambassador to Tehran Ahmad Qorbanov underlined that his country will considerably boost the volume of trade exchanges with Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.

‘The value of trade exchanges between Iran and Turkmenistan will hit $60 million,’ Qorbanov said.  Enhancement of relations with Muslim nations, specially the neighboring ones, stands atop Iran’s foreign policy agenda.

Iran is among the first countries which recognized Turkmenistan’s independence in 1991 .Since 1991, Iranian and Turkmen officials have sought seriously to pave the ground for utilizing each and every potential in their countries to boost mutual cooperation.
