 Kyrgyz envoy stresses boost of ties between Iran-Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Tehran Asanbeyk Osman Aliyev on Wednesday stressed boost of all out ties between Iran and Kyrgyzstan. He made the remarks in a meeting with Governor General of Khorasan Razavi Province Alireza Rashidian, AVA Diplomatic reports.

The envoy said that there are good grounds for expansion of cooperation between the two countries. Referring to the cultural-historical relations between Iran and Kyrgyzstan, he urged establishment of direct flight between Tehran and Bishkek.

Governor General of Khorasan Razavi province, for his part, welcomed expansion of all out ties between this province and Osh as the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan.

Boost of ties with the neighboring countries is part of Iran’s foreign policy, he added.

Khorasan Razavi is part of the North-South and East-West transport Corridor and it can play a key role in facilitation of trade between the two neighboring countries, Rashidian added.

Iran and Kyrgyzstan have agreements on cooperation in the spheres of transport, customs, trade and economic relations. Iran and Kyrgyzstan interact also in the fields of education, culture, travel, customs, finance, war on trafficking and crime in general. They sell each other industrial and agricultural goods.
