Iran, Bahrain Willing to Hold Tourism Exhibition

In the first meeting of Culture Ministers of ACD member countries representatives of Iran and Bahrain called for holding of joint book fairs, tourism exhibitions and taking of further measures to safeguard cultural heritage in Asian countries, AVA Diplomatic reports.According to Public Relations and Information Center of Ministry of Culture, in the Initiatives and Recommendations Committee meeting of ACD conference currently underway in Tehran Bahraini Ambassador to Iran Rashid Aldosari said there are lots of joint activities to be carried out by ACD member states one of them is holding of book and tourism exhibitions.

 He added that cultural issues should not be mingled with topics which have political flavor and we as cultural representatives of Asian countries are duty bond to underline importance of culture.

 Iranian representative in the meeting, Vali Teimori said West Asian Regional Research Center for Cultural Heritage Protection is an appropriate framework to take care of member countries cultural heritage.

 He suggested that in order to boost cultural heritage protection activities a Memorandum of understanding to be drafted in the ongoing conference.
