Australian Envoy Underlines Need for Promotion of Ties with Iran

The New Australian Ambassador to Tehran Paul Foley submitted his credentials to Iran’s President and underlined the need for the enhancement of Tehran-Canberra ties, AVA Diplomatic reports.The Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, for his part, has called for expansion of ties between Iran and Australia, saying the two countries have always enjoyed good relations.

 “There is no dark point in the historical relations between the two countries and definitely in the future, the mutual relations will further improve compared to the past and we will witness them broadening and deepening, “he said.
