Russian envoy calls for promotion of Iran-Russia all-out relations

Ambassador of Russia to Iran Levan Dzhagaryan said here on Tuesday that Moscow is seeking to expand its all-out cooperation with Gilan, AVA Diplomatic reports.Dzhagaryan made the remarks in a meeting with the Governor General of this northren province Mohammad-Ali Najafi.

Describing Gilan province as a bridge between Iran and Russia, the ambassador said the Caspian Sea province plays a pivotal role in expanding bilateral cooperation with southern areas of the Russian Federation.

Najafi, for his part, referred to Iran-Russia relations as constructive and forwarding.

He urged both capitals to take necessary measures for expanding bilateral ties between Iran and Russia.
