Iran Says Time Is Required to Improve Relations with Britain

Iran’s deputy foreign minister Majid Takht Ravachi has said British nonresident Charge d’affaires will pay a visit to Tehran, AVA Diplomatic reports.“According to a memorandum of understanding signed with the Britain, we will gradually lead the relations further, “said Takht Ravanchi.
“I believe we cannot deny the past events; however, we should eye the future, and in our foreign policy framework, based on mutual respect and equal standing see the process, “he added.
“We need time to achieve step-by-step improvement of the relations with the Britain. Thus, now setting a specific date when we open embassies, which are on the agenda by both countries; exchanges would significantly help the process,”Takht Ravanchi concluded.
