Kazakh Envoy Calls for Removal of Sanctions on Iran

Kazakhstan Ambassador to Tehran Bagdad Kultayevich Amreyev said  his country supports Iran’s right for peaceful use of nuclear energy, calling for removal of illegal sanctions on Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.In a meeting with Iran’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi on Sunday, he termed Iran-Kazakh relations as strategic.

Kultayevich Amreyev praised Iran’s logical stance in nuclear talks with P 5+1 and hoped that the illegal sanctions would be removed soon.

He welcomed cooperation with Iran in carrying out economic development projects including renovation of transport and transit routes, railway networks and infrastructure in Kazakhstan.

Vaezi, for his part, called for expansion of bilateral relations with Astana.
