French Envoy Stresses Willingness for Mutual Ties with Iran

French Ambassador to Tehran Bruno Foucher said his country is willing to boost ties with Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.Foucher stated that nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 have had a great impact on the future relations of Iran and the world and the building of mutual confidence, which he described as unprecedented.
He made the remarks in his meeting with the chairman of Iran’s Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, where he also stressed the need for a final agreement over Tehran’s nuclear program.
Rafsanjani, for his part, welcomed the development of ties with France, saying there is great potential for the further development of bilateral cooperation.
He has warned of efforts by the Zionist lobby to derail nuclear talks between Tehran and the P5+1.
“The Zionist lobby is doing its utmost to dissuade the European countries and the US from the path of dialogue, “Rafsanjani underscored.
Iranian senior diplomat concluded that the country is against the building of nuclear weapons, adding that a fatwa by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has banned the development of such arms.
