Arms Control Expert, the New Chinese Ambassador to Iran

Pang Sen, director-general of the department of arms control at the Chinese Foreign Ministry is appointed as the new Chinese ambassador, AVA Diplomatic reports.

China’s president nominated Pang Sen, China’s senior negotiator in Iran’s nuclear case, as his new ambassador to Tehran.The Chinese delegation to Geneva for the talks between Iran and p5+1 was headed by Pang Sen.He is graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai.Sen has a considerable experience in international activities of the Chinese Foreign Ministry especially in security issues.

He has attended the UN general assembly and other international conferences as a member of the Chinese delegation.He also has worked as one of the UN observers and inspectors in nuclear issues and was one of the senior officials working on the WMD and nuclear case of Iraq.He is the author of some important books on WMD and human rights.
