On the sidelines of Japan Culture Night ceremony in Shiraz, Japanese ambassador to Tehran stressed the significance attached to the expansion of ties between Iran and Japan, telling reporters the two countries’ officials will meet in near future. “Iran and Japan have strong cultural and historical backgrounds,” reiterated the Japanese Ambassador to Iran Koji Haneda, AVA Diplomatic reports.
“Cooperation and meetings between the two countries’ officials will consolidate Iran-Japan relations which are now underway,” Haneda said.
Haneda stressed that Shiraz and Fars Province are among the most important historical and cultural places in Iran and the world and it is pleasing to hold Japan Culture Night in Shiraz.
Two great Japanese artists have been invited to Iran to help Iranians become familiarized with well-known Japanese artists, Haneda added.
“Japan’s number one pianist Ms. Noriko Ogawa who is among the best pianists of the world and also Mr. Shu Kubo our number one origami artist,” he introduced the two artists who had attended Japan Culture Night in Shiraz.
