Europe eager to expand scientific, economic ties with Iran

The German ambassador to Iran says that in spite of the American government’s pressure against Iran, the European states have a serious interest in expanding scientific and economic relations with the country, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Michael Klor-Berchtold said on Tuesday in a meeting with the governor of Qazvin, “The German government is very interested in developing relations between the two countries and Qazvin as one of Iran’s scientific and industrial centers can play role.’

Saying that Qazvin city is a good example of the future of science and outlook, he said, a delegation of the most important scientific institutions in Germany had visited Iran and visited several industrial units that found it a good example for bilateral cooperation with the observation of Qazvin existing capabilities.
