Iranian Museum of Graphic Design hosts exhibition by Czech artists
An exhibition titled “Typo 9010” displaying works by a number of Czech graphic designers is currently underway at the Iranian Museum of Graphic Design in Tehran, AVA Diplomatic reports.
The Typo 9010 exhibition showcases 50 typographic posters created by 25 artists in the years between 1990 and 2010, the museum announced last Wednesday following the opening of the exhibit that was attended by Czech Ambassador Svatopluk Cumba.
A number of Iranian artists also attend a workshop on typography held on the sidelines of the exhibition on Thursday.
The Iranian Graphic Designers Society has organized the exhibition in collaboration with the Embassy of Czech in Tehran.
In a brief speech during the opening ceremony, Cumba said that his country is eager to see that the collaboration with the society and museum continues in the future.
