Tehran ready for developing politico-economic ties with Sarajevo

Iran is ready to promote relations with Sarajevo in political, trade and cultural fields, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting with Bosnia and Herzegovina new ambassador to Tehran Samir Veladžić on Tuesday.

Iran has always been standing by Bosnian people in hard times, he said, expressing happiness over current peace and security in this country.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has special position among Iranians, Rouhani noted, urging both sides to take advantage of all capacities and potential in line with developing all-out cooperation.

Meanwhile, Veladžić, submitting his credentials, expressed happiness over Iran’s support for Bosnian people in difficult situation.

He also underlined attempts to reinforce ties with Iran in the trade and economic fields.
