Pakistan first to condemn Ahvaz attack: consulate

Pakistan was the first country which condemned the Ahvaz terrorist attack and Pakistan’s Ambassador Riffat Masood was also the first foreign diplomatic representative in Iran who shared the grief with brotherly Islamic country of Iran, Pakistan’s consulate in Mashhad has said in a statement, AVA Diplomatic reports.

The consulate said it had arranged a candle light ceremony remembering the victims of the September 22 terrorist attack in Ahvaz.

It added that a large banner has been displayed outside the consulate displaying statements of the Pakistan Foreign Office and ambassador condemning the terrorist act and expressing solidarity with the Iranian nation.
