Russian ambassador to Iran on Sunday underlined completion of the International North–South Transport Corridor (INSTC), AVA Diplomatic reports.
‘We are seeking completion of North-South corridor,’ Ambassador Levan Dzhagaryan, said in a meeting with Governor General of the Gilan Province Mustafa Salari.
He also called for the establishment of direct flights between the Russia’s Astrakhan and Iranian capital, Tehran.
The International North–South Transport Corridor is a 7,200-km-long multi-modal network of ship, rail, and road route for moving freights between India, Iran, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Central Asia and Europe.
