Oman National Day held in Tehran

The ceremony to mark the National Day of Oman was held Tuesday with the attendance of Iranian officials, resident envoys, businessmen and cultural practitioners in Tehran, AVA Diplomatic reports.

In the celebration, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari, 1st Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi and Oman ambassador to Iran Saud bin Ahmed bin

Khalid Al-Birwani called for boosting cooperation between the two countries.

Khalid Al-Birwani appreciated Iranian officials for participating in the event.

He also urged promoting relations between the two countries.

Oman’s National Day is celebrated on 18 November. This public holiday celebrates independence from Portugal control in 1650.
