UN4U and Briefing on UN for law students of Azad University

UNIC NIO Mohammad Moghadam and Reference Assistant Nazanin Ghaemmaghami jointly held a UN4U and Briefing Session on UN for some 17 law students from Islamic Azad University in Parand, south of Tehran at UNIC library on 6 July 2017, AVA Diplomatic reports.

During the session, Mr. Moghadam briefly talked about the history of League of Nations and then elaborated on how the United Nations was established.

He briefed the participants on the major organs of the UN, UN major activities, job opportunities the UN and UN Funds, Programmes and Specialized Agencies which are stationed in Tehran.

Ms. Ghaemmaghami also provided additional information and needed data and figures for the students.

The briefing ended with a question and answer session.
