Portuguese ambassador submits copy of credentials

New Portuguese Ambassador to Tehran, Joao Jose Corte Real, submitted copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister, Mohammad-Javad Zarif, here on Monday, AVA Diplomatic reports.

According to a report released by Foreign Ministry Media Department, the new ambassador met with Zarif in Tehran on Monday.

In a separate meeting in Tehran on Monday, outgoing Ambassador of Mexico, Ulises Canchola Gutierrez, attended a farewell meeting with Zarif at the end of his tenure.
