 Tajikistan Appoints New Ambassador to Iran

As reported by the Presidential Office of Tajikistan, Nematullah Emomzada is now appointed as Tajikistan’s new ambassador to Iran. AVA Diplomatic reports the diplomat as being 56 years old quoting the status from the press section of the Presidential Office and had earlier served as Tajikistan’s ambassador to Ukraine and Consulate in Afghanistan, Mazar-i-Sharif, AVA Diplomatic reports.

The Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan also adds the newly appointed envoy used to be the deputy chief of staff at the Ministry and advisor to the country’s ambassador to Ukraine.

Emomzada is said to have served as Tajikistan’s consul in Sevastopol of the Crimean Peninsula. He is the fourth ambassador of Tajikistan in 23 years of diplomatic ties with Iran
