German ambassador visits South Pars Field

German ambassador to Tehran Michael Baron Von Ungern Sternberg on Sunday visited South Pars oil and gas field in southern Iran, AVA Diplomatic reports.

Sternberg arrived in Assaluyeh, in southern province of Bushehr to visit petrochemical complexes and other development plans in South Pars energy field.

During his one-day visit, the German ambassador visited Jam, Ariya Sasoul, Pars, Zagros and Nouri Petrochemical plants, as well as Pars port complex.

Visiting Phase 2 of South Pars oil and gas field, including Marjan, Nouri Kavian and Bushehr petrochemical complexes is also on the agenda of Sternberg’s visit to Assaluyeh.

The ambassador will become familiar with the latest achievements in Iran’s petrochemical industry during his visit.
