Tunisian envoy to Iran visited head of Majlis national security and foreign policy commission and discussed regional and global developing in last days of his tenure in Iran, AVA diplomatic Reports.
During this meeting, head of Majlis national security and foreign policy commission, Alaeddin Boroujerdi called Tunisia as an important Islamic country and urged expansion of mutual relations, especially parliamentary as reported AVA diplomatic.
Alaeddin Boroujerdi mentioned to vast available capacities for bilateral cooperating and criticized lack of bilateral relations. He also urged utilizing available capacities for benefiting people.
“Terrorism and radical groups are grave problem for the region and if no one finds a solution, they will change to an incurable predicament.” He mentioned to terrorists act in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Head of Majlis national security and foreign policy commission also considered drug production and selling in Afghanistan as “the main financial resources of terrorist groups in the region” and asked neighboring countries to cooperating so as to curb this problem.
“Unfortunately, big powers which accompanied with some countries of the region made Syria crisis to a militaristic one and this culminated into annihilating dozens of innocent people. Now, they admit their mistakes and seek a political solution,” he pointed to Syrian crisis “there is no solution but political.”
Alaeddin Boroujerdi believed that Iran was against any monopoly in science and technology and Geneva agreement was aimed to recognizing our right for reaching peaceful nuclear energy technology.
Tunisian envoy to Iran, Khaled Zitouni, for his part, vowed developing mutual relations and said: “Iran is not only a developed Islamic country, but center of science.” Khaled Zitouni expressed his followed country support of Iran peaceful nuclear activities and considered Iran progress as “moral support for Islam world.” He emphasized Tunisia eager for furthering relations with Iran and called for increasing cooperation between the both countries authorities, particularly MPs. “during my tenure in Iran, I tried to get introduced with Iran rich culture and make Tunisian to get to know that. Furthermore, I made my best to expand both countries cooperation.”
